Seed stitch cotton scarf
Some time ago I made this beige seed stitch cotton scarf for fall/winter season. It was the first time I used seed stitch and I suddenly fell il love with it. The design looks complicated, but it’s actually simple. It’s enough to know how to knit and purl. When working seed stitch, you alternate between knit and purl stitches in each row. Another good thing about seed stitch is that the knitted fabric looks the same from both sides, making it a nice choice for scarves:)
